The Theory of the Chaos and the Evolution of the Universe

The theory of the Chaos studies the complex phenomena, like the climate, the economic the mountain earthquakes, formation, some processes and the movement of some celestial bodies. The properties that characterize to these phenomena are: the wealth of information, the high sensitivity to small changes (the fluttering of a butterfly can change the climate of all the planet) and the impossibility to predict with exactitude.

From the theoretical point of view, the study of the chaos has its beginning in the last century, when the mathematician Henry Poincaré proved that it is impossible to each other to calculate accurately the movement of three celestial bodies being attracted, like the Sun, the Moon and the Earth. The Theory of the Chaos, in its experimental form, was rediscovered in 1960 by the meteorologist Eduard Lorenz, when it observed that when modeling the behavior of the climate in the computer, the smallest variations caused very great changes in the results.

Until half-full of this century which thought that the chaotic phenomena were the exception in a ordered universe, worked like a jewelry store machinery. This point of view was supported by the precision whereupon they calculated the eclipses and the visits to the comet Earth like Halley. The exceptions constituted them: the behavior of the red Jupiter spot (a permanent turbulence), chaotic dancing of Hyperión (one of Saturn moons) and the full structure of empty strips of the Saturn ring.

Gradually, the man has noticed that the chaos is present in the universe and all the scales. One is in the spirals that form the galaxies, in the movement of some moons, turbulent winds of planets and in their climates. One is present in the behavior of our heart (a ordered heart this patient), in the surface of our brain and our veins.

Recently it has been discovered that the movement of planets around the Sun less is ordered of which it seems: simulating the movement of the universe in the computer, astronomer Tom Quinn found that it is possible that Mercury leaves the Solar System in five billion years and that the Earth or Mars even can also leave the Solar System. This has changed our vision of the universe, now we know that bucket of chaotic way and in its periods of calm allows to the formation of Solar System and in some of them the evolution of the life. In the same way the volcanos, in their periods of calm, cause the evolution of the Earth life and create valleys with fertile grounds for the development of important civilizations around them.

From this point of view, the life is a balance that arises in periods of relative calm in the chaotic system that is the universe. Here science agrees with some Eastern philosophies, for which the life and the health are also balances.
